New Aprilia RXV 4.5 - 5.5 Picture and review

New Aprilia RXV 4.5 - 5.5 using an amazing 45.2 engine is, of course, became the center of attention from technology RXV. Aprilia was the first manufacturer in the world to believe in the validity of the architecture of V twin in the market segments in which all other marques still cling stiffly to a single cylinder engine. Aprilia's high-tech design twin V has proven 100% reliable in competition. Even homologation for road use is not disrupted technology and incredible engine performance, which is produced entirely by Aprilia. Since the early stages of the design process, 45.2 has evolved to follow the development of chassis and give RXV unbeatable mix of power and handling.
The 77 ° V angle is the result of extensive testing, aimed not only to increase the power but also reduces vibration. Consequently Aprilia engineers have been able to eliminate engine balancer shafts. Although the 45.2 engine still vibrates is far less than the single cylinder alternative.
The cylinder itself is integrated in the crankcase and has a wet line to be replaced. This unique layout has allowed the engine ancillaries arranged in ways that achieve a very compact dimensions. The results are remarkable: Aprilia V twin is one of the twins in the world's most compact, and smaller in size than many singles similar displacement.
All design choices have been taken in order to obtain maximum ridability and an extended power band to ride off-road.
Sophisticated electronic engine management system, developed by Aprilia Racing, incorporates numerous innovations for off-road sector.

Advanced technology and high performance of the RXV chassis is reflected in the exceptional braking system. The RXV features Nissin calipers and lightweight wave discs (270 mm in front) for maximum braking control even under the most challenging conditions.
240 mm rear disc brake caliper piston by a single (lighter than the previous model) for the perfect combination of power and control.
